STEM For All Academy Refund Policy

Overview

We strive to provide the highest quality STEM enrichment experience for all our students. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is requested. Our policy aims to be fair and transparent while maintaining the integrity of our programs.

Refund Eligibility

Full Refund Eligible:

  • Program cancellation by STEM For All Academy

  • Serious illness or medical emergency (documentation required)

  • Unexpected family relocation outside service area

  • Significant technical issues on our end (for virtual sessions) that cannot be resolved

  • Service quality substantially different from promised (must be reported within first two sessions)

Partial Refund Eligible:

  • Mid-month cancellation (prorated for unused sessions)

  • Schedule conflicts arising from school requirements (documentation required)

  • Extended illness or temporary relocation (prorated for missed sessions)

Non-Refundable:

  • Missed individual sessions without 24-hour notice

  • Voluntary withdrawal after the first two sessions of a commitment period

  • Technology issues on student's end (for virtual sessions)

  • Behavioral dismissal

  • No-shows without notification

Refund Process

  1. Submit refund request in writing to info@stemforallacademy.org

  2. Include:

    • Student's full name

    • Program details

    • Reason for refund request

    • Supporting documentation (if applicable)

  3. Requests will be reviewed within 3 business days

  4. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days

  5. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment

Important Notes

  • 4-month commitment period remains in effect unless exceptional circumstances apply

  • All refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the incident/issue

  • We reserve the right to review each case individually

  • Approved refunds may be offered as program credit if preferred

  • Multiple cancellations may affect future enrollment eligibility

Session Rescheduling

  • 24-hour notice required for session rescheduling

  • Up to 2 reschedules permitted per month

  • Make-up sessions must be completed within the same month

  • Holiday-related changes will be accommodated without penalty

Appeals Process

If your refund request is denied and you wish to appeal:

  1. Submit a written appeal within 7 days of denial

  2. Include any additional supporting information

  3. Appeals will be reviewed by program directors

  4. Decision will be communicated within 5 business days

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that extraordinary situations may arise. We will review such cases individually and make reasonable accommodations when possible. Our primary goal is to ensure every student has the opportunity to benefit from our STEM enrichment programs while maintaining fair business practices.

STEM For All Academy reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Any modifications will be communicated to enrolled families and posted on our website.
